Balance of the perspective: Use of 3 cameras for interviews

Annotation:
- In part 5"Special Cases", the author mainly talks about the use of camera in interview documentary. When the director appears in the documentary as a member of the interviewees, the following three camera angles can balance the subjectivity and objectivity of the documentary.
- Camera 1: Looks directly into the camera. The camera position here can be facing the interviewer, and there is only one person in the picture (can be close-up), increasing authority and subjectivity. The audience can make better eye contact with the interviewee through the picture
- Camera 2: The oblique angle. This eases the pressure of the interview and is a friendly camera Angle. This avoids direct visual contact between the interviewer and the audience
- Camera 3: Two-person interview. If the record is full of confrontation and conflict, a two-person interview is used in this case. The audience can clearly see the state of all interviewees, and the camera at this time records from the third Angle, which not only helps the audience get more information, but also ensures the objectivity of the documentary.
- In the end, the position of all the cameras depends on what concept the director wants to present to the audience through the film. Entering the interview with a relaxed feeling will make the audience more comfortable.

- 1号相机:直视镜头。这里的机位可以对着采访者,画面里只有被采访者一个人(可以是特写),增加权威性和主观性。观众可以通过画面更好的和被采访者进行视线接
- 2号相机:倾斜的角度。这里放松了采访时的压力,可以说是一个很友好的相机角度。这可以避免被采访者和观众进行直接的视觉接触。
- 3号相机:双人采访。如果记录的内容充满对抗和冲突,这种情况下会使用双人采访。观众可以看清所以被采访者的状态,这时的相机处于第三视角进行记录,这样不仅可以帮助观众获得更多信息,也可以保证纪录片的客观性。
- 最后所有相机的位置都取决于导演希望通过电影展现给观众一个什么概念。以轻松的感觉进入访谈会让观众更加舒服。
Test in my film:
- In my documentary, I also adopted the shooting method of three cameras. Since the interview was conducted by video call, I placed Camera No.2 on the side of the computer, so as not to affect the viewing experience as much as possible. While avoiding direct visual contact, it does not affect the viewing experience of the audience. I set the lens of camera 2 to 50mm, which can help the audience to see the change of the interviewer's mood. As the Camera No.3 was used to shoot large scenes, because it was a video call, the conflict presented was not as strong as that of face-to-face conversation. This issue will be addressed in the final film (which will be completed back in China).
- 在我的纪录片中也采取了3个相机的拍摄方法。因为采访的方式是视频通话,我把2号相机的位置放在了电脑的一侧,尽可能的不影响观看体验。在避免视觉直接接触的同时也不影响观众的观看体验。我把2号相机的lens调到了50mm,这样可以帮助观众很好的看到采访者情绪的转变。3号相机作为拍摄大景的机位,因为是视频通话的原因,所展现的冲突没有面对面交谈的这么强烈。这个问题会在最终影片中解决(最终的纪录片将回中国完成)
